Success Stories in the year 2015-16 Project Champion award winners of IPL winter 2015. V. Prajwal Rao, Varun Kumar D, Skanda Bhagavath, Vijeth V of 5th Semester Mechanical Branch for their project “SHREDDRTRON 6000” had participated in VTU Business Plan Competition and won Rs. 15000/- among the VTU colleges. Best project award winners, Basha K, Saleeth A Sab, Satish Kumar D M  had been shortlisted in the top 10 for the final MANTHAN 2016 Business Plan Competition 2016 conducted by Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FKCCI) for their project HANDYMOTE. Vasudev ,EEE ,VI semester has started his own campus company name Reverb Instruments. His company is into selling acoustic electric violin to overseas customers who are based out of United States of America (USA) and United Kingdom (UK). IPL Summer Competition 2016

BNMIT Entrepreneurship Cell conducts Innovative Project Lab Competition twice in a year for BNMIT students in order to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship and to create innovative technical thinking among the students. The best projects from different engineering streams were selected for the final IPL summer competition held on April 22, 2016 at BNMIT. The Chief Guest and Judges for the Exhibition were Mr. D P K. Muthukumaraswamy, Innovation Leadership Consultant, Innomantra Consulting Pvt Ltd, Bangalore &                    Dr.S. Ramamurthy, Professor-IPR, Jain University, Bangalore. 22 Best Project Teams from various Engineering Streams of BNMIT were selected by their respective Departments to compete in the event. The Evaluation Criteria was based on Possibility of conversion of project in to product, high innovative ideas, Feasibility and Use to the society. The Project Champion award of Rupees.10000/- was awarded to Achyuth G R, Ashrith Pradeep from Computer Science

Opening Remarks about the programme was done by Dr. L. Vijayashree followed by              Smt.
